“I’m just trying to be open..so that I can be in alignment with where I am supposed to be in life”
One Thought
Your level of openness determines the amount of opportunities you take that have the potential to change your life. Being closed will keep you protected but it will also keep you stuck. If you find yourself saying no all time you should ask why. Making a habit of saying yes will lead you down the path of discovery which will in turn reveal where God wants you to be in life. What keeps us closed is fear and past trauma that will take over your life if you let it. How can God ever lead us if we never let him? Jesus will always ask us to take a step of faith into the unknown. We can’t be in alignment with God while simultaneously letting fear and past trauma be in the drivers seat of our lives. Light cannot mingle with darkness. What we must do is ask Jesus to heal our wounds and show us our true identity in Him (perfectly righteous, loved, accepted, flourishing). We must learn to be open and vulnerable because that is truly living life to the fullest! If Christ wasn’t open to be vulnerable and come to earth due to fear where would we be?
One Question
Would you say that you are open or closed in this season of life right now?
One Action Step
If you are closed challenge yourself to pray about what you are closed about, listen to The Spirit, and then go take action (even if you feel afraid)
